Cambelts

A cambelt (or timing belt) is an important part of a car. It is designed to ensure that all parts of the engine work in sync but, because it is so essential, it can wear through and snap causing expensive damage to your engine.

We at Springwell Car Care recommend that you have your cambelt checked every 40,000 to 60,000 miles so that we can check for wear before it escalates into a serious problem that could endanger you and your car’s health. If you have noticed that your engine is lacking in power or is slow to pick up, it could be a sign that your cambelt needs replacing.
